Boston College junior defenseman Aram Minnetian has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the National Hockey League’s Dallas Stars, the organization announced on Mar. 24. The contract will begin in the 2026-27 season, and Minnetian is set to join the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League for the remainder of the 2025-26 year.

Minnetian was selected by Dallas in the fourth round as the 125th overall pick during the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Over his collegiate career at Boston College, he played in all 36 games this season, contributing two goals and nine assists for a total of 11 points and finishing with a plus-15 rating.

During his three years at Boston College, Minnetian appeared in 111 games and accumulated seven goals and 28 assists, totaling 35 points. He also achieved a plus-46 rating throughout his time on “the Heights.”

Internationally, Minnetian has represented Team USA at the IIHF World Junior Championship, where he earned back-to-back gold medals in both 2024 and 2025.

The signing marks an important step for both Minnetian’s professional career and for Boston College hockey alumni entering NHL organizations.
