Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, representing Massachusetts’ 7th district since 2019, has been vocal on various issues through her social media presence. Her recent tweets highlight her stance on national defense, educational initiatives, and civil rights.

On March 24, 2025, Congresswoman Pressley criticized the Secretary of Defense in a tweet stating, “This level of incompetence is damning and dangerous from our grossly unqualified Secretary of Defense.”

Later that day, she shared her experience visiting Harvard Kent Elementary School in Charlestown during Women’s History Month. She tweeted, “This Women’s History Month, I visited the Harvard Kent Elementary School in Charlestown to read ‘ABC What Can She Be?’ TY to Ms. Collings & her amazing Pre-K students for the warm welcome. And a special shoutout to our educators, school psychologists, & librarians!”

On March 25, 2025, Pressley addressed a policy change by former President Trump regarding federal contractors and segregation. She stated in a tweet that “Last week, Trump revoked a policy prohibiting federal contractors from having segregated facilities. Today, Republicans are opposing my amendment to ban segregation.
