Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, who represents Massachusetts’ 7th district in the U.S. Congress, has used her social media platform to voice criticism of former President Donald Trump and his administration’s recent actions.
On May 27, 2026, Pressley posted: “Donald Trump wants every federal worker to sign an NDA. Because he knows his Administration is breaking the law repeatedly & he’s afraid of whistleblowers telling the American people the truth. To our whistleblowers: don’t forget you’re protected under federal law.”
Two days later, on May 29, 2026, she commented on developments involving Pam Bondi and the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, “Pam Bondi obstructed the release of the Epstein files, violated the law, & denied transparency to the public and survivors. The cover up continued today with Bondi’s closed-door deposition because this White House is afraid of the truth coming out. All to protect Donald Trump,”
Later that same day, Pressley addressed financial matters connected to Trump: “Exactly. Not only is Trump’s slush fund unlawful, it’s a downright denial of reparative justice for those who deserve it. Trump would sooner reward white supremacists who attacked our democracy than Black folks plagued by the inequities perpetuated by slavery & discrimination.”
Ayanna Pressley has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Mike Capuano and previously held office in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Born in Cincinnati in 1974 and currently residing in Boston, she continues to be an active voice on issues related to government transparency and civil rights.
