Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 7th district since 2019, recently shared her views on various issues via social media. The congresswoman expressed her concerns regarding federal workers, Haitian nationals affected by TPS policy changes, and proposals to privatize the United States Postal Service.

On February 20, 2025, Pressley addressed the plight of federal workers amid recent developments. She stated that “Our federal workers here in Boston & across the country have been left out in the cold.” She further criticized former President Donald Trump for his actions towards these workers, asserting that their livelihoods were at risk.

In a subsequent post on February 21, 2025, Pressley condemned Trump’s decision to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitian nationals. She warned that this move could severely impact many individuals residing in the United States. As she noted, “Trump’s shameful decision to end TPS for Haiti could be a death sentence for more than 500,000 Haitian nationals living in the US.”

Later that day, Pressley voiced her opposition to any attempts to privatize the United States Postal Service (USPS). Emphasizing its importance as a public service rather than a commercial entity subject to privatization efforts by influential figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump, she remarked: “The @USPS is a lifeline that millions rely on for mail, medications, checks, & more.”
