Ayanna Pressley, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Massachusetts’ 7th district, has recently shared her views on several issues via social media. Her posts touch on topics such as immigration policy, senior citizen welfare programs, and workforce development initiatives.

On March 19, 2025, Pressley expressed concern over the potential termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians living in the United States. She stated that “Haitians TPS holders have been living in the U.S. for nearly 15 years – growing families, starting businesses and serving the country.” She warned that ending TPS amidst a humanitarian crisis could be catastrophic.

Later that day, she addressed issues affecting senior citizens. In her post dated March 19, 2025, she criticized attempts to cut funding for programs like Meals on Wheels and Social Security by stating “Our seniors deserve to age with dignity.” She mentioned enjoying time with elders at a local center.

On March 20, 2025, Pressley highlighted efforts to equip workers with necessary skills in an evolving job market. She announced funding support for a digital literacy initiative by saying “Our workers deserve the training and essential digital skills to thrive in today’s evolving job market.” The $1 million funding is aimed at enhancing digital skills through Boston’s DigLit 2.0 initiative.
