The Northeastern men’s hockey team had three players named as 2025-26 New England Division I All-Stars by the New England Hockey Writers Association, according to an announcement on April 7. Senior Vinny Borgesi and juniors Dylan Hryckowian and Lawton Zacher were selected for these honors.
This recognition places Northeastern alongside Dartmouth and UMass with the most selections in New England this season, marking the Huskies’ highest total of All-Star picks since the 2021-22 season.
Borgesi contributed 20 points this season, including five goals and 15 assists. He was a Walter Brown Award Semifinalist and a Hockey East Second Team All-Star. As team captain, Borgesi set both career and team highs with 75 blocked shots. He also led the nation in time on ice for a second consecutive year at over 27 minutes per game.
Hryckowian earned Hockey East First Team All-Star honors after leading Northeastern in goals (15), assists (22), and points (37). This marks his third straight campaign reaching at least 30 points. In conference play, he ranked among the top five players in several scoring categories.
Zacher finished his junior year as a Hockey East Second Team All-Star and was a semifinalist for the Mike Richter Award in 2026. His .929 save percentage and total of 922 saves both placed him among national leaders. Zacher recorded five shutouts—second most in NCAA—and collected fifteen wins during the season.
These individual achievements reflect strong performances from key members of Northeastern’s roster throughout the year.
