Boston College finishes 11th at ACC Championships in Wilmington

Boston College Women’s Golf finished in 11th place at the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships, according to an April 17 announcement from the team. The event took place at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The Eagles completed stroke play with a total score of 876, finishing 12-over par. Their performance included a first-round score of 294, a second round of 298, and their best round of the tournament with a final score of 284.

Freshman Joyce Zhang led Boston College by tying for 21st place individually at two-under par. Zhang achieved both her team’s and the tournament’s best single-round scorecard with a round of 69 that featured five birdies. Senior Cynthia Zhang followed closely behind, tying for 31st place at one-over par after posting a bogey-free final round score of 71 and making one birdie.

Sophomore Ana Lucia Trevino tied for 41st overall with a four-over-par finish, highlighted by four birdies and eleven pars during her final round of play. Junior Frances Kim placed in the field’s top sixty-three at ten-over par, while graduate student Tiffany Cao finished tied for sixty-ninth at fourteen-over par.

The championship was held on Porters Neck Country Club’s Par-72 course measuring over seven thousand yards. Stroke play rounds were conducted on April 16 followed by match play beginning April 17 through April 19.
