Boston College lacrosse will start a three-game road trip with a match against UAlbany on Monday, March 31. The game is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The matchup comes after Boston College’s recent win over No. 2 Stanford, where the Eagles secured a 13-11 victory and handed Stanford its first loss of the season. Goalkeeper Shea Dolce made ten saves, including seven in the second half, helping preserve the lead late in the game. Hanna Davis scored her second goal with two minutes remaining to secure the win.

Team leaders in that contest included Giulia Colarusso and Kylee Colbert, who each tallied four points. Molly Driscoll recorded a hat trick while Marissa White contributed two goals and an assist. Senior defender Shea Baker had three caused turnovers and continues to lead the team with 17 this season.

Looking ahead to their game against UAlbany, Boston College holds a record of six wins and two losses in their all-time series against the Great Danes and has won their last four meetings by an average margin of more than ten goals. The Eagles defeated UAlbany last year on their home field by a score of 20-4.

Several underclassmen have led Boston College’s offense this season. Driscoll leads with 34 points from 23 goals and eleven assists; White has added another 31 points; Colarusso has scored a team-best twenty-five goals; Davis is tied for most assists at eleven alongside ten goals; other contributors include Kylee Colbert (20 points) and Avery Hudson (18). The top seven point leaders are all juniors or younger.

On defense, Baker is nearing career milestones with twenty more caused turnovers needed to reach one hundred for her time at Boston College. Dolce is also approaching six hundred career saves.

Head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein was recently named head coach of the U.S. Senior National Team for the upcoming World Championships in Tokyo this August. Several current players—including Baker, Dolce, Lydia Colasante, Emma LoPinto—have participated on national teams over recent seasons.
