Boston College lacrosse will welcome Harvard for a game at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in Alumni Stadium.
The matchup is significant as Boston College aims to reach a .500 record with a win, which would also mark back-to-back victories for the second time this season. The Eagles currently hold a 13-15 all-time record against Harvard but have won eight of the last nine meetings between the teams. Their most recent encounter was in 2022, when Boston College secured a decisive 17-1 victory.
In their last outing, Boston College defeated California 15-8. Avery Hudson recorded a career-high six points with three goals and three assists, while Giulia Colarusso scored four times and added an assist. Shea Dolce made 11 saves during the game and is now just four saves away from moving into second place all-time in program history for career saves.
The Eagles’ offense has been led by underclassmen this season. Molly Driscoll leads the team with 23 points, followed by Marissa White with 19 points and Colarusso with a team-best 16 goals. Six of Boston College’s top scorers are either sophomores or juniors.
Harvard enters the contest with a 1-4 record after losing to Princeton. Charlotte Hodgson leads the Crimson with 22 points, including ten assists, while Callie Batchelder has scored thirteen goals so far this season. Rebecca Arpano has started all five games as goalkeeper for Harvard.
After facing Harvard, Boston College will return to Atlantic Coast Conference play on Saturday against Pitt in the Red Bandanna Game.
