The Boston College Men’s Track and Field Team secured the top four places in the 10,000-meter race at the Jaylin Rainford Invitational, according to a statement released on Mar. 27.
The event marked another strong showing for Boston College as they continued their outdoor season. The results highlight both individual achievements and overall team performance in long-distance events.
Aidan Brancaccio led the group by winning the 10,000 meters with a time of 29:59.89. This run was not only a personal best for Brancaccio but also set a new meet record and became the ninth fastest time in program history. Mac Kittrell followed closely behind, finishing second with his own personal best of 30:25.54. Nick Loffredo and Jack Higgins completed the sweep for Boston College by taking third and fourth place respectively, crossing nearly together with times of 30:28.30 and 30:28.58.
The next competition for Boston College will be at the UConn Dog Fight on Saturday, April 4.
