The Boston College first varsity four crew team was named Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week, according to a March 24 announcement from the conference.

This recognition comes after the team secured a first place finish at the Gummy Bear Bowl last Saturday with a time of 7:57.4. The honor highlights their performance and brings attention to Boston College’s rowing program.

The First Varsity 4+ lineup includes junior coxswain Cassidy Ferron, sophomore stroke Ella Davis, freshman three-seat Alice Frascella, freshman two-seat Beatrice Maxwell, and freshman bow Eva Croney-Ferraiuoli. Their teamwork contributed to their recent success in competition.

Looking ahead, the Eagles are scheduled to compete in the Sarasota 2k this coming weekend in Florida. This event will provide another opportunity for the team to demonstrate their abilities against regional opponents.

As they prepare for upcoming races, the recognition from the Atlantic Coast Conference serves as encouragement for continued strong performances throughout the season.
