Boston College Women’s Golf finished in 10th place at the Juli Inkster Invitational after completing the third and final round on March 10. The tournament, hosted by San Jose State at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, saw the Eagles shoot a combined score of 43-over par across 36 holes.
The event is significant for Boston College as it provided an opportunity to compete against strong collegiate teams and individual players from across the region.
Graduate student Tiffany Cao led Boston College throughout the tournament, finishing tied for 12th place with a total score of six-over par. Cao recorded seven birdies during her rounds. Freshman Joyce Zhang followed, tying for 37th place at twelve-over par. Junior Frances Kim finished tied for 47th at fourteen-over, senior Cynthia Zhang tied for 50th at fifteen-over, and sophomore Jenna Shilts rounded out the lineup in a tie for 60th place with seventeen-over par.
The top five teams in the tournament were San Jose State (+11), California (+12), Santa Clara (+24), UC-Davis (+28), and Washington (+29). Leading individual performances included Constance Fouillet of California and Tova Hatton of Sacramento State, who both finished three-under par to share first place.
The Eagles’ participation in this invitational highlights their ongoing efforts to compete at a high level within collegiate golf. The results provide experience and benchmarks as they continue through their season.
