The Boston College women’s tennis team is scheduled to play against North Carolina State University on March 27 and Wake Forest University on March 29, according to a statement released on March 26.
These matches are part of the Atlantic Coast Conference schedule. The Eagles currently hold an overall record of eight wins and eight losses, with no conference victories this season.
The first match will take place against NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina. This meeting marks the 23rd time the two teams have faced each other. Historically, NC State leads the series with eighteen wins compared to Boston College’s four. Their most recent encounter was in March 2024 when NC State defeated Boston College by a score of five to two.
Following Friday’s contest, Boston College will travel to Winston-Salem for a match against Wake Forest on Sunday. This will be the twentieth all-time meeting between these programs. Wake Forest holds twelve wins over Boston College’s seven in their previous meetings. The teams first played each other in April 2006, with Wake Forest winning five to one. In their last matchup in March 2024, Wake Forest secured a six-to-one victory over Boston College.
Both upcoming matches provide opportunities for Boston College to improve its conference record as they continue their season.
