Boston College women’s tennis defeats BU for fourth straight win

The Boston College women’s tennis team secured a 4-2 win over Boston University on Friday at the Weymouth Club. This victory improves Boston College’s record to 6-1 for the season and marks their fourth consecutive win.

Boston College took an early lead by winning the doubles point. The No. 1 pair, Seren Agar and Natalie Eordekian, posted a 6-1 victory, while Olivia Benton and Leyden Games clinched the No. 2 doubles match with a score of 6-4.

In singles play, Olivia Benton won her match at the top spot with a straight-set victory of 6-3, 6-2 against Nancy Liu from Boston University. Tola Glowacka, Nadia Barteck, and Leyden Games all played three-set matches that were crucial for the Eagles’ success. Barteck came back to win her match at No. 6 singles with scores of 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Glowacka secured another point at No. 4 singles after rallying from behind to finish with a scoreline of 1-6, 6-2, 7-5.

The final score was Boston College four points to Boston University’s two.
