The Boston College women’s tennis team will travel to Florida for two Atlantic Coast Conference matches, facing Florida State on April 3 and Miami on April 5.

These matches are important as the Eagles seek their first conference win of the season. The team currently holds an overall record of 8-10 and is winless in ACC play with an 0-8 mark.

Boston College will play against Florida State University in Tallahassee on Friday at 3:00 p.m. This meeting marks the 23rd time the teams have faced each other, with Florida State holding a dominant record of 20 wins to Boston College’s two. The most recent contest between these programs took place in February of last year, when the Eagles lost to FSU by a score of 4-1.

On Sunday, Boston College heads to Coral Gables for its matchup against the University of Miami at 11:00 a.m. This will be the teams’ 26th all-time meeting. Miami leads the series with a record of 23 wins and three losses against Boston College. However, in their last encounter in March last year, Boston College defeated Miami with a score of 4-2. Their first-ever match-up was held in March of 2000, when Miami won decisively by an eight-to-one margin.

Both contests present opportunities for Boston College to improve its standing within conference play as it faces familiar opponents during this road trip.
