Boston University men’s soccer has announced its spring schedule, which features five games and the addition of the Northeast Spring Cup tournament.

The Terriers will begin their schedule by hosting Southern Connecticut, an NCAA Division II team, at Nickerson Field on March 1. The team will then take part in the round robin phase of the new Northeast Spring Cup from March 28 to April 11. During this phase, Boston University will play against Boston College, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Head coach Kevin Nylen commented on the tournament: “We are very excited about participating in the inaugural Northeast Spring Cup. It will give all eight programs an opportunity to play meaningful and competitive games against top teams in New England. A big thanks to Rich at UNH for being the driver behind this event.”

Boston University is scheduled to host Boston College on March 28 at 5:30 p.m., travel to New Hampshire on April 4 at noon, and return home to face Vermont on April 11 at 7 p.m. After these round robin matches, final standings in the North Region will determine the team’s next opponent from one of the South Region schools—Bryant, Providence, UConn, or UMass—on April 18 or 19 at a site yet to be determined.

The final game will decide placements among all eight participating teams from both regions.
