Boston University announced on April 1 that its softball team has moved up the scheduled Patriot League series against Bucknell because of expected bad weather this weekend.

The change means the Terriers and Bison will now play a doubleheader on Friday, April 3, with a third game set for Saturday, April 4. The first pitch is scheduled for noon on both days.

This adjustment is part of Boston University’s current nine-game homestand. The stretch will conclude with a doubleheader against Providence next Wednesday, April 8.

The schedule change aims to ensure all games are played safely and without interruption from the forecasted inclement weather. Both teams are preparing to adapt quickly to the new timeline.
