The Boston University women’s lacrosse team will travel to face Stonehill College on Wednesday, February 11, at W.B. Mason Stadium in Easton, Massachusetts. The game is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start and will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.

Boston University began its 2026 season with a 16-7 victory over New Hampshire last Friday. Junior Tessa Geddes led the Terriers by scoring four goals, including the team’s first goal of the year and a hat trick in the first half. The Terriers entered halftime leading 7-4 and extended their advantage by outscoring New Hampshire 9-3 in the second half, including six goals in the fourth quarter.

Other notable performances included junior Alex Cutone, who scored three goals, and freshmen Avery Cutair and Makenzie McDevitt, each recording their first career goals for BU. Junior goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa was recognized as Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week after making 13 saves on 20 shots faced, achieving a .650 save percentage that ranks second among NCAA goalkeepers who saw at least ten shots during opening weekend. Geddes also received an honorable mention from the Patriot League.

Stonehill enters its season opener after finishing last year with an overall record of 11-7 and an 8-1 mark in Northeast Conference play. The Skyhawks reached the NEC Championship game but lost to LIU. Key returning players include top scorer Natalie Couto, who had 44 goals and 16 assists last season, and Grace Murphy, who posted 50 points in just eleven games. Starting goalkeeper Nina Tremonte returns after recording a .440 save percentage and an average of 11.24 goals allowed per game in 2025.

Last season’s meeting between these teams ended with Boston University defeating Stonehill by a score of 14-6 in Boston. Izzy Amonte, Hannah Tillier, and Elle Stevenson each recorded hat tricks for BU while Natalie Aiosa made twelve saves on eighteen shots to secure the win. Boston University holds a perfect all-time record against Stonehill at two wins and no losses since their first matchup in 2024.
