Boston University women’s swimming starts Patriot League Championships with two relay races

The Boston University women’s swimming and diving team began their participation in the 2026 Patriot League Championships at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Maryland, on Friday. The opening night featured two relay events for the Terriers.

In the 200-yard medley relay, sophomore Abby Han teamed up with freshmen Hadar Miller, Kiki Rampersad, and Molly Barber to secure seventh place with a time of 1:41.32.

Later in the evening session, the 800-yard freestyle relay saw senior Haley Newman join sophomore Izzy Valantiejus and freshmen Danka Ndubuisi and Ava Coombs. This group finished sixth with a time of 7:23.19.

After these results, Boston University is tied for sixth place as they head into Thursday’s events.
