Four Boston College football players have been named to the 2025 All-ACC Academic Team, according to an announcement from the league office on Friday.

Josiah Griffin, a defensive lineman from Springfield, Massachusetts, and Juan Zabal, a linebacker from Mexico City, received the honor for the second time in their collegiate careers. First-time honorees include kicker Luca Lombardo of Westport, Connecticut, and wide receiver VJ Wilkins of Pfafftown, North Carolina.

The selection process for the All-ACC Academic Team requires student-athletes to maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average over the previous two semesters as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA throughout their academic career. Additional criteria include being enrolled at their institution for at least one year as an undergraduate and participating in at least half of their team’s games.

The four Boston College honorees represent a range of academic disciplines: Griffin is majoring in Psychology; Lombardo in Communication; Wilkins in Applied Psychology & Human Development; and Zabal in Economics.
