On Friday, Feb. 28, former Brookline High School standout Mitchell Schroeder’s current college team, the UMass Minutemen, lost 9-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Coppin State Eagles.

The game took place at Joe Cannon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Minutemen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Joe Cannon Stadium against Coppin State Eagles.
