On Friday, March 7, former East Boston High School standout Joel Valera’s current college team, the SNHU Penmen, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans.

The game took place at USA Baseball National Training Complex. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Penmen’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m. at USA Baseball National Training Complex against Mansfield Mountaineers.
