Harvard University announced on Mar. 31 that its baseball game against Stonehill, scheduled for Tuesday at O’Donnell Field in Cambridge, has been postponed. No makeup date has been set for the contest.

The decision to postpone the game was made because of weather and field conditions in Cambridge, according to university officials.

The postponement affects both teams’ schedules and leaves uncertainty about when or if the matchup will be rescheduled this season.

Looking ahead, Harvard is set to host Brown University in a three-game series. The series will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, Apr. 4 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a single game on Sunday, Apr. 5 at noon. Both games are scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+.

The next steps for Harvard baseball involve preparing for their upcoming series while monitoring weather and field conditions that could impact future games.
