Harvard Football announced on Apr. 3 the addition of five new first-year student-athletes to its Class of 2030, joining the previously announced group of 21 recruits from December, according to Andrew Aurich, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football.

The expanded class now includes a total of 26 players, with representation across offense, defense, and special teams. This balanced recruitment brings in 13 offensive players—including two quarterbacks and two running backs—12 defensive players, and one specialist kicker.

The new additions are Najee Calhoun (running back) from Forked River, New Jersey; Iroc Cordova (defensive back) from Hawthorne, California; Will Martin (running back) from Washington, D.C.; Chase Mason (defensive back) from Ladera Ranch, California; and David Owusu (defensive line) from Ottawa, Ontario. Each athlete brings a history of leadership roles as team captains and notable achievements such as state championships or individual honors in their respective regions.

With these latest commitments, Harvard’s incoming class features athletes from several states including California (five), Massachusetts (four), New York (three), Florida (two), Illinois (two), New Jersey (two), Pennsylvania (two), Oregon (one), Texas (one), Virginia (one), Washington D.C. (one) as well as two students from Ontario, Canada.

Aurich said the program is pleased with the depth and geographic diversity this group provides. The full list includes detailed profiles highlighting each player’s athletic accomplishments and academic recognition.
