Harvard men’s lacrosse, ranked No. 5 nationally, will travel to New Haven to play No. 17 Yale in a significant Ivy League game on April 11. The match at Reese Stadium is scheduled for a 3:30 PM start and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

This contest marks an important point in the season for Harvard, which holds a strong record of 9-1 overall and remains undefeated at 3-0 in Ivy League play—their best league start since the 2014 season. With only a few games left before postseason tournaments, both teams are looking to solidify their positions within the conference standings.

The Crimson recently secured a come-from-behind victory over Brown with a score of 12-10, improving their performance against ranked opponents this year to three wins out of four games. Harvard has not won at Yale since 2014 but broke a five-game losing streak against the Bulldogs last season with a win at home. This upcoming meeting will be the teams’ 107th encounter since their rivalry began in 1882.

Teddy Malone leads Harvard’s offense with 29 goals and ranks second in the Ivy League for goals per game. Jack Speidell and Logan Ip have also surpassed thirty points each this season, while goalkeeper Graham Stevens boasts a .570 save percentage—sixth best nationally. Nathan Cobery currently leads all NCAA players in shot percentage.

Yale enters the matchup with a record of five wins and four losses (2-2 Ivy), coming off back-to-back victories including an upset over No.9 Cornell. The Bulldogs average nearly twelve goals per game but have allowed almost as many defensively this year.

Looking ahead, Harvard will return home after facing Yale to host Princeton on senior day at Jordan Field as part of Cambridge Day celebrations.
