Harvard Men’s Volleyball lost to George Mason University in three sets (15-25, 23-25, 17-25) on April 3 at the Recreation Athletic Complex in Fairfax, Virginia.

The match was important for both teams as they continue their conference schedules. Harvard’s record moved to 6-14 overall and 3-6 in the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association, while George Mason improved to 17-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.

In the first set, Harvard struggled offensively and finished with a negative hitting percentage. George Mason took advantage of Crimson errors and controlled the tempo throughout the set. The second set was more competitive with ten tie scores and several lead changes; however, Harvard narrowly lost by two points. In the third set, Harvard started strong with a four-point lead but could not maintain momentum as George Mason rallied late to secure the win.
