Olivia Jones, a first-year player for Harvard women’s basketball, has received her eighth Ivy League Rookie of the Week award this season. The announcement was made by the league.

In two recent games, Jones averaged 8.5 points per game with a shooting percentage of 54.5%. She also recorded an average of 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 2 steals per game. In the matchup against Penn, she scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting and contributed six rebounds along with three steals, matching her career high in that category.

The next day against Princeton, Jones added six points and led her team with nine rebounds. She also had two assists, one block, and one steal during that game.

With this latest recognition, Jones becomes one of only ten players in Ivy League history to earn at least eight Rookie of the Week honors in a single season.
