Harvard softball will play its first home games of the 2026 season at Soldiers Field as it welcomes Dartmouth for a weekend series on Saturday, Mar. 28 and Sunday, Mar. 29.
The return to Cambridge follows a stretch of 23 road games for Harvard, which currently holds a record of 10-12-1. The Crimson have shown strong recent form, winning four out of their last five contests and outscoring opponents by a combined margin of 23-10 during that span.
Last week, Harvard played five games in Connecticut, sweeping Sacred Heart in a doubleheader before taking two out of three against Yale to open Ivy League play. Junior pitcher Nicolette Hunter delivered standout performances both on the mound and at the plate, including pitching five scoreless innings and hitting a solo home run in the series finale against Yale. Senior pitcher Riley Flynn also contributed with a career-high 12 strikeouts during her first complete game outing this year.
Head coach Jenny Rohn is now in her third season leading the program and has guided Harvard to consecutive Ivy League Tournament appearances along with an Ivy League regular season title in 2024. This season’s team captains are senior pitcher Ryan Grace, junior outfielder Audrey Szollosi, and junior utility Megan Davies.
Dartmouth enters the weekend with a record of 3-11 after beginning conference play with one win over Penn last weekend. In previous matchups between these teams, Harvard leads the all-time series against Dartmouth by a margin of 78-27.
Looking ahead, Harvard will travel next weekend for another Ivy League matchup against Cornell.
