Harvard University baseball will play the University of Massachusetts in the third-place game of The Baseball Beanpot on April 14 at Boston College’s Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at Harrington Athletics Village in Brighton, Massachusetts.
The matchup is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., with Harvard designated as the visiting team. Later that evening, No. 23 Boston College will compete against Northeastern in the championship game, set for a 6:00 p.m. start.
The second round follows semifinal results earlier in the week, where Boston College defeated UMass by a score of 11-1 and Northeastern narrowly beat Harvard, finishing with a score of 4-1.
Both games will take place at Harrington Athletics Village, which serves as the home field for Boston College baseball. The Beanpot tournament annually brings together local college teams to compete for regional bragging rights.
Looking ahead, Harvard aims to secure a win over UMass after falling short against Northeastern, while Boston College and Northeastern prepare to battle for this year’s title.
