Harvard women’s tennis defeats Southeast Missouri State with clean sweep

Harvard women’s tennis achieved a 7-0 victory over Southeast Missouri State in Memphis, Tennessee. The team secured the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. Natalie Block and Natasha Rajaram won 6-2 at the No. 3 doubles spot, while the nationally ranked duo of Stephanie Yakoff and Kavya Karra earned a 6-1 win at the top position.

In singles play, Harvard won all matches in straight sets. Kavya Karra allowed only one game in her 6-0, 6-1 win on court two. Stephanie Yakoff followed with a 6-2, 6-0 result on the top court. Kate Kim clinched the overall match for Harvard by defeating Yontha Tadoum 6-4, 6-0 on court six.

Additional singles victories came from Natasha Rajaram, Claire Shao, and Anna-Raphaëlle Serghi, each conceding just six games in their respective matches.

The Crimson will conclude their weekend with a match against Memphis scheduled for tomorrow morning at 11:00 a.m. ET.
