Harvard Women’s Swimming and Diving completed its 2025-26 season with a 9-1 dual-meet record and four athletes competing at the NCAA Championships, according to an April 10 announcement from the program.
The team’s performance continues a longstanding tradition of success for Harvard, marking its 41st consecutive winning season. The Crimson also achieved back-to-back seasons with at least nine dual-meet victories for the first time since the mid-2000s.
Head Coach Amanda Kulik led Harvard through a competitive Ivy League Championships, where team members secured conference titles in several events. Alexandra Bastone won the 500 freestyle, Anya Mostek took both the 100 and 200 backstroke titles, Sydney Lu claimed victory in the 100 butterfly, Aliana Marakovic captured first place in the 200 breaststroke, and relay teams won both medley relays. Mostek was named Ivy League Career High Point Swimmer while Nina Janmyr earned recognition as Career High Point Diver.
Bastone (500 free, 1,650 free), Janmyr (1-meter diving), Lu (100 fly, 200 fly), and Mostek (50 free, 100 back, 200 back) represented Harvard at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta. This matched last year’s total of four competitors—the program’s highest since sending five athletes to nationals in 2019. The Crimson has now participated in nationals for fourteen straight seasons.
The results highlight sustained excellence within Harvard Women’s Swimming and Diving under Kulik’s leadership. The team’s achievements this year build on a legacy that includes consistent appearances at national competitions.
