Harvard women’s water polo will play its final regular season game against Brown in Providence on April 2. The match, scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center, will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A win for Harvard would secure a first-round bye in the upcoming Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) playoffs next weekend. The team currently holds a 4-1 record in conference play and has shown strong performance throughout the season.

Beatrice Hearey was named CWPA Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week after scoring five goals during Harvard’s recent trip to California. Harvard has won four of its last five games against Brown, with all three of Brown’s wins in their last ten meetings being decided by just one goal—two of those coming in overtime.

The Crimson have twice posted a 12-game winning streak this season, outscoring opponents by a combined margin of 193-75 over those stretches and averaging nearly a ten-goal difference per game. During their recent California road trip, Harvard went 5-2 with victories over several ranked teams and set a new program record for most wins through twenty games after defeating UC Irvine.

In tournament play at the Aztec Invite, Maya O’Dea, Lily Britt, Sofia Del Villar, Heidi Heffelfinger, Petra Klemm, Niki Piovan and Emma Gilbert contributed significant goals as Harvard secured dominant wins over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pomona-Pitzer. These performances helped extend their win streak to twelve games and improve their overall record to 24-1.

Looking ahead, Harvard will travel to Ann Arbor for the CWPA Playoffs starting April 11. Seeding and specific game times are yet to be determined.
