The Northeastern men’s basketball team will travel to Virginia for two games this weekend. The first game is scheduled against William & Mary on Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by a match against Hampton on Saturday at 4 p.m. Both games will be available for streaming on FloCollege.

Northeastern and William & Mary are set to face each other for the 39th time, with Northeastern currently leading the series 20-18. The teams met recently in Boston, where William & Mary secured a win. Northeastern’s upcoming game against Hampton marks their sixth meeting, with Northeastern holding a slight advantage of 3-2 in the series.

William Kermoury has been performing well from beyond the arc, shooting 44% in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play and making 50 out of 114 attempts. He is one of only two players in the CAA to have made at least six three-pointers in five different games this season. His performance includes a career-high 36 points with six three-pointers against Charleston on January 31. Kermoury leads the CAA and ranks 28th nationally in three-point percentage at 41.6%. The Huskies have made ten or more three-pointers in six games this season, reaching a season-high of fourteen at Elon on December 29. Kermoury is close to entering Northeastern’s top-ten list for most triples made in a single season.

Xavier Abreu achieved his first career double-double with ten points and a career-best ten rebounds during the team’s recent contest against Hofstra on February 21. He is now the sixth player from Northeastern this season to record a double-double, joining Xander Alarie, Haris Elezovic, Ty Francis, Youri Fritz, and Luca Soroa Schaller. This marks the highest number of different players achieving double-doubles for Northeastern in over fifteen years.
