Northeastern University’s Alex Fuller has been named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Co-Rookie Swimmer of the Month following her recent performances in collegiate swimming competitions.

Fuller, a freshman, achieved two victories at the Tate Ramsden Invitational. She finished first in both the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.74 seconds and the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.97 seconds. Both results are among the top ten fastest times recorded in the CAA this season. Fuller also played a role in Northeastern’s winning effort in the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the team completed the race in 3:28.51.

At the Boston Winter Open last weekend, Fuller won the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of 55.30 seconds, which currently stands as the seventh-fastest mark in the conference.

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Fuller and her teammates are scheduled to compete next at the CAA Championships from February 25-28.
