Northeastern swim and dive finishes fifth in two relays at CAA Championships

The Northeastern swim and dive team began their participation in the CAA Championships at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Virginia. On the first day of competition, Northeastern took part in two relay events.

In the 200 Medley Relay, senior Anna Verlander, graduate student Elisabeth Bendall, freshman Alex Fuller, and junior May Bradburn finished fifth with a time of 1:42.11. The team also competed in the 800 Free Relay where juniors Mary Nordmann and May Bradburn teamed up with freshmen Siena Griffiths and Abigail Gowern to secure another fifth-place finish, posting a time of 7:29.36.

The Huskies are scheduled to continue competing tomorrow morning with the 500 Free event starting at 9:30 a.m.
