The Northeastern women’s hockey team, ranked fifth nationally, will play two key games this weekend following their recent Hockey East Regular Season Championship. The Huskies are scheduled to face Boston University at Walter Brown Arena on Friday, February 13 at 6 p.m., and will then host Boston College at Bentley Arena on Sunday, February 15 at 3:30 p.m. Both matches will be available for streaming on ESPN+, and admission to Sunday’s game is free.

Northeastern secured the Hockey East Regular Season Title after a 3-2 overtime win against Vermont last Saturday. This achievement marks the program’s first regular season crown since the 2022-23 season and ensures the Huskies the No. 1 seed in the upcoming Hockey East Tournament.

Friday’s matchup with Boston University will be the fourth meeting between the teams this season. Northeastern has won both conference games against BU by scores of 3-1 and 7-3, while BU claimed a 2-1 overtime victory in their most recent Beanpot Semifinal encounter. Senior Kristina Allard leads all players from previous matchups with five points and four assists, while senior Lily Shannon has scored three goals. For BU, Clara Yuhn has recorded two goals against Northeastern and ranks second on her team with 16 points; Sydney Healey leads BU overall with 24 points.

On Sunday, Northeastern faces Boston College for the fourth time this season. The Huskies have won all three prior meetings, with freshman Stryker Zablocki leading in scoring with five points. Sophomore goaltender Lisa Jönsson earned all three wins with a .935 save percentage and a goals-against average of 1.67. BC’s Ava Thomas leads both her team and Hockey East in scoring with 41 points, while goaltender Grace Campbell holds a record of 12-16-2 along with a .923 save percentage. In their last meeting during the Beanpot third-place game, Campbell made a career-high 54 saves.

After these games, Northeastern is set to travel to play No. 6 UConn on Friday, February 20 at 5:30 p.m.
