Graduates earn 542 degrees, certificates from the MGH Institute of Health Professions

About 36.9 percent of the 542 degrees and certificates handed out by the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Boston conferred 191 bachelor's degrees and 9 doctor's degrees in nursing practice programs.

Other popular programs include physical therapy/therapist, general communication sciences and disorders and physician assistant.

The institute enrolled 1,250 students for 2017-18, including 215 in undergraduate programs and 1,035 in graduate programs.
