Census Bureau: More women than men in Boston in 2019

Of the 684,379 people living in Boston in 2019, 52 percent (355,876) were women and 48 percent (328,503) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Bean Town Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 255,419-to-241,096. In the 65 and over age range, there were 45,731 females and 33,130 males.
