Census Bureau: More women than men in Boston in 2020

Of the 689,326 people living in Boston in 2020, 52 percent (358,766) were women and 48 percent (330,560) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Bean Town Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 15,276. In the 65 and over age range, there were 47,237 females and 34,047 males.
