Census Bureau reports Boston population was 689,326 in 2020

Boston had a population of 689,326 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Bean Town Times.

The median age was 32, with 52 percent of the total population being female and 48 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 6,873,003.
