Celotto Selected To NEILA Division III Men's Lacrosse All-New England Second Team

The New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) announced their yearly 2022 Men's Lacrosse Division III All-New England teams on Friday, May 27th. Emerson men's lacrosse senior, Skyler Celotto, was selected to the All-New England Second Team as a first time honoree during his four-year collegiate career.

Celotto finished his decorated Lions' career with 67 total points, which helped the senior become the program's new all-time scoring leader. The senior was a three-time captain alongside a two-time NEWMAC All-Conference honoree and placed on the Academic All-Conference team three times. This past week, Celotto also became the first member of the Emerson men's lacrosse program to receive All-American honors as he was selected as an Honorable Mention on the Division III team. 

SKYLER CELOTTO 

  • Second NEWMAC All-Conference selection with the first coming during freshman season in 2019
  • Became the Emerson men's lacrosse program's new all-time scoring leader 
  • Finished his senior campaign with a career-high 44 goals (five man-up) and 23 assists, alongside 52 ground balls and seven caused turnovers
  • During his Emerson career, Celotto notched 94 goals and 32 assists for 126 points to go with 144 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers
  • Notched season-best six goals in Emerson's 16-8 NEWMAC opening victory over Wheaton (Mass.) 
  • Recorded five goals in the Lions' playoff clinching 14-13 win down at Coast Guard 
  • Named NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week during the week of May 2nd
