- The Terriers are one point ahead of Merrimack but have one game in hand on the Warriors.
- BU is two points ahead of Northeastern; the Huskies play a home-and-home set with UMass Lowell this weekend.

- BU moved into first place after it took all six available points in a weekend sweep at Vermont, earning a 5-3 win on Friday before junior Drew Commesso stopped all 23 shots he saw in a 3-0 victory on Saturday.
- Senior captain Domenick Fensore was named Hockey East Defender of the Week on Monday after a four-point weekend against the Catamounts.
