Boston University women's basketball junior forward Caitlin Weimar has been selected to the All-ECAC First Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Weimar becomes the first Terrier to earn All-ECAC accolades since Chantell Alford back in 2013. The Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. native was one of two Patriot League student-athletes on the First Team, joining Lehigh's Frannie Hottinger.

Eligible for the recognition for having picked up First Team All-Patriot League honors, Weimar adds to her list of awards following a standout 2022-23 campaign. The Patriot League's Defensive Player of the Year also earned spots on the All-Defensive Team and All-Tournament Team, and was named Patriot League Player of the Week three times, the most by a Terrier since joining the conference for the 2013-14 season.

This year, Weimar paced BU with 15.5 points and 10 rebounds per game, becoming the first Terrier since Debbie Miller-Palmore to average a double-double on the season. Her league-leading .597 field goal percentage is the second-highest clip by a Terrier in a single season, and ranks 10th in the country approaching the Final Four.

In two seasons at Boston University, Weimar has registered 698 points, 505 rebounds, and 90 blocks across 54 contests. Heading towards the 2023-24 season, her .550 shooting percentage in a Terrier uniform is third all-time.
