Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, who has been serving Massachusetts’ 7th district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, shared several updates on social media highlighting her advocacy and community engagements.
On November 16, 2024, Pressley expressed solidarity with the transgender community during Transgender Awareness Week. She stated: "To our trans neighbors, friends, & loved ones: You belong. You are enough. You are seen & loved. And your life matters. I'm celebrating you on this Transgender Awareness Week & every week."
On November 17, 2024, she celebrated a recent accolade awarded to her office for its efforts in equity and accessibility. She wrote: "My office intentionally builds equity & access into the work we do daily. We aim to make government work better & remove the barriers people face when accessing federal resources. So humbled to win @congressfdn's Democracy Award for Constituent Accountability & Accessibility."
The following day, on November 18, 2024, Pressley visited Madhouse Motors in Boston and acknowledged their role as both a motorcycle shop and community cafe. She commented: "Madhouse Motors is a unique business in Boston. As a motorcycle shop and community cafe, they know how to support community needs in more than one way. Thank you to the team for letting me drop by!"
