Describing it as a "historic victory," she highlighted the relentless efforts of the movement working towards this goal for more than a century. On January 18, 2025, amidst discussions about challenges posed by another Trump presidency, Pressley advocated for community unity over chaos. She expressed joy in starting Martin Luther King Jr. weekend with ACLU Massachusetts and working towards building a community envisioned by Dr. King."As we face the challenges of another Trump presidency, we're choosing community over chaos."
