Stryker Zablocki from the No. 5 Northeastern women’s hockey team has been named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, according to an announcement on Monday.
Zablocki helped Northeastern secure two victories last week, defeating No. 6 UConn and Providence. Over those two games, she scored three goals and contributed one assist. She registered one goal against UConn and then achieved a three-point game at Providence.
Originally from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Zablocki finished the regular season leading all players in Hockey East games with 34 points.
Northeastern will compete in the Hockey East Quarterfinals on Saturday, Feb. 28.
