Freshman Stryker Zablocki of the Northeastern women’s hockey team was named to the All-USCHO Rookie Team, according to an announcement on Apr. 3 by USCHO.com.

This recognition marks the second consecutive season that a Northeastern player has been selected for the All-USCHO Rookie Team, highlighting continued success for the program’s newcomers.

Zablocki received several honors this season, including being named Hockey East Player of the Year and Co-Rookie of the Year. She finished her freshman campaign with 44 points, which is tied for sixth-best in program history and ranks as the fourth-highest total among freshmen nationwide. In addition, Zablocki earned Hockey East Scoring Champion honors by recording 34 points in conference play.

The acknowledgment from USCHO.com reflects both individual achievement and ongoing strength within Northeastern’s women’s hockey program. The repeated presence of Huskies players on national rookie teams suggests a promising future for upcoming seasons.
