Colin Peattie, Mateo Bianchi, and Theodor Schucht will represent Boston College at the 2026 NCAA East First Round, which will be held at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex from May 27 to 30. The three athletes aim to qualify for the NCAA Championships scheduled for mid-June.

Peattie is set to open competition on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in the first round of the 1500 meters. If successful, he will advance to Friday’s quarterfinals at 5:15 p.m. On Friday evening, Bianchi will participate in the 3000-meter steeplechase quarterfinals at 5:40 p.m., followed by Schucht competing in the semifinal of the 5000 meters at 8:10 p.m.

All three have delivered strong performances during this outdoor season for Boston College, setting two school records and achieving six top-10 program marks. Each athlete is seeking their first appearance at the NCAA Championships and would become Boston College’s first qualifiers since 2024.

The event runs each day from approximately 5:00 p.m. to just after 9:00 p.m., with live results available online and streaming coverage provided through ESPN+ as well as additional meet information on NCAA.com.

The schedule includes Peattie’s participation in both Wednesday’s opening round and potentially Friday’s quarterfinals of the men’s 1500 meters, Bianchi’s entry into Friday’s steeplechase quarterfinals, and Schucht racing later that evening in his event.
