Northeastern University announced on March 12 that three members of its men’s hockey team have been selected for the Hockey East All-Star teams following the conclusion of the 2025–26 regular season. Junior Dylan Hryckowian was named to the First Team, while senior Vinny Borgesi and junior Lawton Zacher earned spots on the Second Team.

The recognition highlights the strong performances by these athletes throughout the season. Their achievements reflect both individual skill and their contributions to Northeastern’s overall success in conference play.

Hryckowian led Northeastern offensively, recording team-highs with 15 goals, 22 assists, and a total of 37 points. He also topped the team in shots on goal with 107 and maintained a plus-eight rating. Hryckowian appeared on the scoresheet in all but eight games this season and had 13 multi-point games. During Hockey East regular-season play, he tied for fourth in points (22), tied for fifth in assists (13), and ranked third overall with a 1.16 points-per-game average.

Borgesi played all 35 games as a defenseman, leading Husky blueliners with five goals and fifteen assists for a total of twenty points. He set new career highs in blocked shots (72), shots on goal (81), and power-play goals (2). Borgesi also led the NCAA in average time on ice at over twenty-seven minutes per game for a second straight year. In conference play, he finished among top defensemen in several categories including power-play goals, blocked shots, points, goals, and assists.

Goaltender Zacher posted fifteen wins during the season along with five shutouts—the most in the nation. He recorded a .931 save percentage (third-best nationally) and made 899 saves (eighth nationally). In Hockey East regular-season action, Zacher ranked second in shutouts (3), save percentage (.930), saves (613), and goals-against average (2.20). His performance also earned him national attention as a semifinalist for the 2026 Mike Richter Award.

These honors underscore Northeastern’s presence among top collegiate hockey programs this season.
