Graduates earn 152 degrees, certificates from Urban College of Boston

About 80.9 percent of the 152 degrees and certificates handed out by Urban College of Boston in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Boston conferred 72 associate's degrees and 51 certificates in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in early childhood education and teaching. Data shows the school gave out 72 associate's degrees in early childhood education and teaching, followed by 51 certificates in early childhood education and teaching and 12 associate's degrees in general human services.

The college enrolled 931 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
